Bambi

Raindrops fell...

But the maiden still cried in torment and pain

Alone in the journey she has traveled on,

Surpassed by the awful rain.

Jaded of her existence

She wanted to relinquish.

She was totally disheartened

Because love for her was amiss.

Destiny seemed blurry for the lady of sentiment

The response of affection was completely absent.

She felt weary yet continued the expedition

Waiting for the knight of aesthetic satisfaction.

Time passed by…

Still no one’s there to join her journey.

“I have to wait, I have to be patient.”

She sighed with deepest agony.

In the ocean of strangers she looked around

Gazing up into the eyes of everyone

‘nd from that ghastly scene, she spotted a man.

“Is he the one who will stop the rain, and be thy sun?”

Raptures of endearment overruled her heart

For secretly, she has loved him from the very first start

Mystified of his candid eyes, those winsome smile,

Unable to suppress her feelings for a while.

She stared at him in reverent silence

Noted the attributes, his arrogant handsomeness

His breathtaking face was one of the unleashed sensualities

The knight has it all, the paragon of masculinity.

Inside thy heart, she looked for a place of solidarity

A place like heaven, a place of verity

But still ill-fated like a broken reverie

Love in the lad’s eyes, she could not see.

Now…

Raindrops turn into heavy rains

The uncaring wind, waiting still in vain,

Fate may blur for the damsel,

Pain may not easy to mend,

But still she believes that someday

The sun shall rise again…

    Hello =)

This is my first blog here...So exciting!!!
By the way...I created this poem in my college years to express my emotion through pen and paper...This poem was also published in our University's Publication ( Reflections ).

Since blogging hits the industry today, I decided to post my "master piece" in my blog site...hehehe. I really really love writing poems before but because I'm so busy in my studies and now in work , I wasn't able to write poems anyway... But later these days, perhaps I will be in my "poetic spirit" and freely write poems that will bring deliverance in our hearts...

    Enjoy reading... God bless
