Bambi
Man Speaks:

I've seen a number of movies lately Lord,
Like Romeo and Juliet
The Love of young people, at least in some movies,
Is beautiful,
So simple, so total, so uncomplicated
They seem so natural
So free in their emotions, so clear in their feelings
I wish I could be like that, Lord,
But I can't be
Why is it so?
I've been hurt, Lord,
I have trusted and been betrayed many a times,
I have tried hard to care the failed often
I have shared my secrets and heard them whispered
To others
I have been warm but I only got a cold shoulder
I have been through it, Lord
I've fallen in face
I've banged my shins
I've been bruised
Look, Lord, I am all covered with scars!
The Lord speaks:
Maybe you haven't understood enough,
Maybe you haven't learned that life is cruel
All saints are scarred
Young love is not the highest form of love
The greatest love comes from scarred people like me
Many people stop loving so they won't be
Hurt again
But people start loving again,
Who continue in spite of all,
Who leave themselves open
To the possibility of being hurt again,
These people are able to feel again in a deeper way,
A richer way
Man's Response:
I think I know what you mean, Lord
I have met people like me
And knowing them gave me courage
The greatest people are those who continue to love
With their scars.
I LIKE SCARRED PEOPLE, LORD
THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL!

Bambi
From the depths of thy soul
Into the heart of the sea
I once asked myself,
Should I fight for a reverie?

A dream…
Yes, a savage dream
So cruel…
So noble…
Will I win thy victory?

A fight of illusions
A battle for reality
Aspiring for triumph
Grasping for supremacy.

From the roots of the mountain
Into the flood gates of heaven
I will be what I want to be
Though I’ll endure life’s catastrophe.

Spirits high! Thy goal is achieved.
A heart with a desperate grip
Won’t cease,
Yet strive and simply believe.

BELIEVE!
Thy soul that never quits the earth
Into my heart high yearnings
I will fight…
I will soar…
I will reach my dream…
Bambi

Raindrops fell...

But the maiden still cried in torment and pain

Alone in the journey she has traveled on,

Surpassed by the awful rain.

Jaded of her existence

She wanted to relinquish.

She was totally disheartened

Because love for her was amiss.

Destiny seemed blurry for the lady of sentiment

The response of affection was completely absent.

She felt weary yet continued the expedition

Waiting for the knight of aesthetic satisfaction.

Time passed by…

Still no one’s there to join her journey.

“I have to wait, I have to be patient.”

She sighed with deepest agony.

In the ocean of strangers she looked around

Gazing up into the eyes of everyone

‘nd from that ghastly scene, she spotted a man.

“Is he the one who will stop the rain, and be thy sun?”

Raptures of endearment overruled her heart

For secretly, she has loved him from the very first start

Mystified of his candid eyes, those winsome smile,

Unable to suppress her feelings for a while.

She stared at him in reverent silence

Noted the attributes, his arrogant handsomeness

His breathtaking face was one of the unleashed sensualities

The knight has it all, the paragon of masculinity.

Inside thy heart, she looked for a place of solidarity

A place like heaven, a place of verity

But still ill-fated like a broken reverie

Love in the lad’s eyes, she could not see.

Now…

Raindrops turn into heavy rains

The uncaring wind, waiting still in vain,

Fate may blur for the damsel,

Pain may not easy to mend,

But still she believes that someday

The sun shall rise again…
